Choir Season Begins
Chancel Choir rehearsals will begin on Wednesday, September 7 and follow every Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. from the beginning of September through the end of May. The chancel choir is a family within the church united to witnessing the good news of Jesus through song. Our church is very blessed with people who feel moved to share their gifts of music in this manner on a weekly basis. Rehearsals typically last from 75 to 90 minutes and consist of a time of devotion, rehearsal and sharing of blessings and prayer requests. The choir participates during the weekly Sunday worship service, offers ministry in song for special services such as World Communion Sunday, Christmas Eve and Maundy-Thursday and at times witnesses to individuals outside our church building. We would love to have you become part of our family on Wednesday evenings.
The Chancel Chimers will also begin rehearsing in September. Chiming is a fun and challenging way to share your musical gift. Instruction in presented in a manner that will enable all to participate from novice to advanced.
